We tried to get old Marsalla to rip off another one, right while old Thurmer was making his speech.

That’s where I lived at Pencey. 거기가 내가 Pencey에서 살았던 곳이다.

I put on this hat that I’d bought in New York that morning.
It was this red hunting hat, with one of those very, very long peaks.
I saw it in the window of this sports store when we got out of the subway, just after I noticed I’d lost all the goddam foils.

The way I wore it, I swung the old peak way around to the back-very corny, I’ll admit, but I liked it that way.
내가 그 모자를 쓴 방식은, 챙을 뒤로 가게 써보았다.-매우 촌스럽게 / 나는 그렇다고 인정했지만, 나는 그러한 모습을 좋아했다.
I looked good in it that way.
그렇게 써보니 괜찮아 보였다.
I thought it was going to stink, but it didn’t. I’m quite illiterate.
